The landscape for Phase 2 of the Global Indian International School is designed as a living ecosystem—a series of interconnected green layers that support learning, movement, and daily discovery. By weaving gardens, play spaces, and world-class sports facilities into the fabric of the architecture, we have created a campus that is as immersive as it is functional.

The experience begins at the arrival drop-off, where a dynamic water fountain with integrated lighting and choreographed jets creates a sense of ceremony. The heart of the ground level is dedicated to physical excellence, featuring a high-performance synthetic turf sports field, a cricket practice pitch, and a unique running track tunnel. To encourage confidence and exploration, we integrated 6-metre climbing walls designed for senior students.

On the second storey, the pace shifts. A dedicated Butterfly Garden offers a quiet retreat, utilizing circular planters and wrap-around composite benches to create communal "islands" within the greenery. Nearby, edible gardens serve as outdoor classrooms where students can observe and nurture nature firsthand. For younger learners, a 3-metre bouldering wall is tucked behind the grandstand, offering a safe yet challenging play zone. We maximised the project’s environmental footprint through extensive vertical greenery and green roofs. Striking green walls frame the entrance lobby and cafeteria, while rooftop planting moderates the microclimate. On the third-storey terrace, the landscape climbs even higher, featuring a basketball court enclosed by climbing plants and a playground surrounded by curvilinear flowering planters, blending high-energy sport with restorative social spaces.
